Celebrate 100th birthday of Extension office May 16

This year North Carolina Cooperative Extension Celebrates 100 Years. The Haywood Cooperative Extension Office will have an Extension Appreciation Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 16, at 589 Raccoon Road, Waynesville.

Join the Extension office and learn about the history of Cooperative Extension in North Carolina and Haywood County and services available to the community.

To celebrate, the Extension office is starting a corn club for boys and tomato club for girls. There will be popcorn and tomato plants while supplies last.
