The people of Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church invite you to come and celebrate the wonder and beauty of Easter with us. This will be the 5th annual gathering on Easter morning at historic Stuart Auditorium, Lake Junaluska. The service will begin on Easter Sunday, March 31, at 10:25 am. Guests are invited to come early for coffee and fellowship preceding the service at 9:30 am.
“Long’s Chapel is a nearly 150 year old congregation that is excited about inviting the region to our Easter service. We will be blending together each of our four worship services into one dynamic experience of faith,” says Senior Pastor Dr. Charles (Chuck) W. Wilson, II. “Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church is a dynamic community of faith located near the East Gate of Lake Junaluska. On a given Sunday morning people gather from all over the region to participate in this transforming fellowship where everyone is welcome, nobody is perfect, and anything can happen,” says Wilson.
For five years Long’s Chapel has gathered on the shores of Lake Junaluska. On most Sundays Long’s Chapel has four distinct worship services. On Easter, though, the people called Long’s Chapel and their guests from all over the region will all gather for one service at 10:25.
