The Rotary Club of Haywood County celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss Monday, March 3, by reading to the kindergartners at Meadowbrook Elementary School and presenting each student with his or her own Dr. Seuss book.

"We've done this for years," said George Marshall. "This is my favorite project. We do a lot, but this is my favorite."

There was lots of laughter and smiles as the students paired up with Rotary members to read "Cat in the Hat," "Sox on Fox," "Green Eggs and Ham," "One Fish, Two Fish," or "Hop on Pop."
