‘Helping our Members Build Better Futures’ is the mission of Champion Credit Union.  In 2011, they donated over $108,000 back to the local community.  One way that Champion chooses to give back is by supporting the local schools and sports teams.  Champion Credit Union donated $5,000.00 to Pisgah High School to help build the new batting cage for the girls’ softball team.  The batting cage is complete with netting and is able to accommodate up to four players at a time.  “We know how important it is to support those that support us,” says Noralynn Grindstaff, Marketing and Communications Manager with Champion Credit Union.  “These students work hard on and off the field.  If we are able to provide them with something to enhance that performance, then we jump on the chance.  We see this as our opportunity to give back and help mold strong students, strong players, and strong citizens.”

Champion Credit Union wishes all of the teams good luck in the upcoming season!
