1954 – 2013

WAYNESVILLE — Charles Ray Trantham Sr., 59, of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at MedWest-Haywood.  He was born in Haywood County Jan.12, 1954.

He is preceded in death by his  parents, Claude and Pearl Trantham; brother Vester Trantham;  and sisters, Lola Mae Conard, Mildred Haney and Maxine Mehaffey.

Survivors include; two sons, Charles Ray Trantham, Jr. and Timothy Michael Trantham ; his wife Donna Messer Trantham; sisters, Carolyn Parker, Judy Parton, and Juanita Ledford; brothers, Hobert Trantham, Rufus Trantham and James Trantham; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Garrett Funeral Home.
