Loving Father

MURPHY— Charlie D. Sims, 60, of Blairsville, Georgia, formerly of Murphy, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012. He was a native of Cherokee County, but had lived in Haywood County for several years before moving back in 1999. Charlie was a 1974 graduate of Western Carolina University. He was a homebuilder and in 1990, he became owner and operator of TEPC Company, a fuel equipment service company. Charlie was of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Cline D. and Ruby Mills Sims.

Surviving are his wife, Carol McRae Sims; two daughters, Charly Inman, and husband, Marty, of Canton, and Michelle Davis, and husband, Brian of Clyde; a step-daughter, Kristin Rodeck, and husband, Tommy of Andrews; a step-son, Jonathan Spradling, and wife, Julia of Andrews; a brother, Vinson Sims, and ...
