Circus coming to Haywood Fair Grounds

The Lewis and Clark Circus will be in town March 20 and 21 at the Haywood County Fair Grounds.

The Lewis and Clark Circus is a One-ring European-style circus featuring traditional acts under the big tent and a petting zoo complete with camel and pony rides. The circus also has other activities for children, including face painting, bouncing house, and much more.

"We put 20,000 free kids tickets and bunch of posters in local businesses," said spokesperson Lena Dotsenko. "Visitors can expect everything you'd find at an old-time circus, from clowns to animals, It's about 90 minutes of affordable, G-rated, family-oriented fun. And there's no bad seat in the house."

There will be shows daily — one at 5 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. Camel and pony rides are $5, and admission to the circus is $12 to purchase online or $15 at the door.

Free kids tickets are available in the local businesses as well as online for youngsters up to age 14. There is two free kids per one paid adult.
