WAYNESVILLE — Clarence Lee Kirkpatrick, 78, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Maggie Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.
A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late James Robert and Estie Haynes Kirkpatrick. He retired from Champion International with 35 years’ service and was a member of Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church. Clarence enjoyed bait fishing and camping at Little Creek in Madison County.
He is survived by a daughter, Vickie Taylor, and her husband, Ray, of Clyde; a son, Michael Kirkpatrick, of Clyde; two sisters, Peggy Hunter, and her husband, Phil, of White Oak, and Willa Mae Teague, of Fines Creek; two brothers, Wayne Kirkpatrick, and his wife, Dorothy, and Bruce Kirkpatrick, all of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Ashley Kirkpatrick, ...
