Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Asheville where she graced the congregation with her earthy, intuitive style of Gospel singing. From 1992 to 1996, she worked as a jazz singer with the U.S. Air Force jazz band at Scott Air Force base in Illinois. Today, Rockell Scott sings on many stages, including church, where her songs touch hearts and souls in profound ways.
