Claymates Pottery opens Waynesville location

Claymates Pottery, a contemporary art studio, has openied a second location at 460 Hazelwood Ave., across from Waynesville Pharmacy.

Claymates is owned and operated by Carrie and Brian Hockman, who opened their first location in August 2009, in Dillsboro. They have continued to grow that studio, as well as expand to the Waynesville area.

The chamber will hold a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7,  at Claymates.
Hors d'oeuvres will be provided and attendees may enter a drawing for a $20 gift certificate.
