SYLVA — Cleatus Crisp Barron, 94, of Sylva, died Dec. 10, 2012.  She was a member of Love’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was a native of Cherokee County, but had lived most of her life in Jackson County. A daughter of the late Ben and Carrie Sherrill Crisp, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Barron, who died in 1979; four brothers, and six sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Max David, and wife, Susan, of Waynesville, and Franklin, and wife, Kathy, of Sebring, Florida; two grandsons, David, and wife Anne, of Waynesville, and Patrick, of Hollywood, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Cade and Riley; and several nieces and nephews.
