CANTON — determination propelled the Canton Middle School boys  soccer team to its first-ever undefeated season and allowed the Black Bears to claim an outright Blue Ridge Conference championship.
“They have worked so hard and that is what has made this year’s team a success,” said CMS Head Coach Ricky Warren. “We set a record for goals scored and perhaps the biggest surprise has been how well the team has worked together during their matches. I’m really going to miss this group of guys, they are special to me. The 2013 Pisgah soccer program will be better because of them.  I’ll be watching them.”
