Coaching changes may impact ’12 season

A total of 28 of the 124 FBS college football teams are going into the 2012 season with new head coaches, 14 of which were hired at BCS conference schools. After investigating the schedules of these teams, there are a few new head coaches that may cause problems for some traditional powers getting to the national championship game in Miami, Florida.
The most obvious of these squads is Ohio State with two-time National Championship winning coach, Urban Meyer. Though they are not bowl-eligible this season due to NCAA penalties, the Buckeyes are returning 15 starters from last year’s 6-7 team. However, Meyer has a combined 27-8 in his first seasons as a head coach at Bowling Green, Utah, and Florida.
