The Haywood Community Band will present its fourth free concert of the Maggie Valley Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at the pavilion adjacent to the Maggie Valley Town Hall.  The concert series is sponsored by the Maggie Valley Civic Association.

The band will take listeners on a musical tour around the world with “Touched by History,” including “A Morning in Madrid,” “One Night in Athens,” “In a Persian Market,” and other familiar music.

Attendees may bring a picnic dinner, lawn chair and enjoy a Maggie Valley sunset.
