The Haywood-Junaluska Community Chorus begins the fall rehearsals at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept.10, at in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, 566 S. Haywood St., in Waynesville.  The concert will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the church.

Area singers are invited to join the chorus. There are no auditions.  There is a membership fee of  $10 per concert, which goes toward music expenses.

The choral director is David Traynham, with Cynthia Henderson as accompanist.

Admission  to the concert is free. A free-will offering is taken at the concert.
