County commissioner candidates outline views

As voters head to the polls this fall, they will have a chance to elect two county commissioners.

The governing body overseeing county services and functions includes five members elected on a partisan basis. Commissioners serve for four years. Terms are staggered so that three board seats are available during one election and two are filled the next.

This year, two incumbents, Mark Swanger, a Democrat and Kevin Ensley, a Republican, are seeking re-election. Republican Denny King, who sought the seat two years ago, and political newcomer Mike Treadway, who is a Democrat, are also vying for the seat.

Voters can vote for their two top choices.
