'Crosswalk' to take place April 18
Christians from the Canton Community will participate in the 20th annual "Crosswalk" on Good Friday, April 18, as they march in procession, carrying in turn a heavy, wooden cross through the streets of Canton.
The procession will begin at First United Methodist Church and passing at the Catholic church, the Presbyterian church, the Evergreen Packaging office, Town Hall, First Baptist, St. Andrew’s and ending at Central United Methodist Church where there will be a service of worship based on the "seven last words of Jesus" led by pastor Paul Brown.
