From 7 to 9 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Cruso Circle Play & Jam will be held at Camp Hope on a weekly basis. Open to the public and always free, the Circle Play invites veteran as well as beginning pickers to attend. If you love mountain music as much as you love Camp Hope, come on out and join in. Coffee, hot chocolate and desserts will be available. Our special guests Nov. 5 are Marc and Anita Pruett.

Marc Pruett has been called “America’s Banjo Player” and is currently a founding member of the IBMA award winning band Balsam Range. His wife Anita, also a gifted musician, has played with Whitewater Bluegrass Company and Everett Lilly, whose 1950s recordings with Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs are revered in bluegrass circles.

Come sit by the big fireplace and enjoy some great mountain music. Dress warm and bring a friend.

Contacts: Tracy & Joyce O'Neil and Pam Kearse.
