Daisy Scouts donate toys

Daisy Girl Scout Troop #30067, sponsored by Long's Chapel United Methodist Church, collected clean stuffed animals to donate to the Haywood County Sheriff's Department to give to a child in a distressful situation.

Sgt. Chris Shell and Det. Nathan DeWeese thanked the scouts for their thoughtfulness and for sharing their stuffed toys to make a child happy.

Vi Terrell, troop leader, thanked the officers for their visit and for the important and dangerous job they do.
