Dangerous fugitive sought; last seen in Bethel, Stamey Cove
The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating a fugitive wanted on numerous felony warrants in Tennessee.
Authorities believe Donald Sanders, 44, may be in Haywood County. Local law enforcement officers received information as to his possible whereabouts here Wednesday, conducting several searches in the Bethel and Stamey Cove areas, but were unable to locate him.
Sanders is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and having multiple tattoos including a large flame tattoo on his chest. Though the attached photograph shows him with a beard and mustache, he may have recently shaved these off. Sanders may also be using the name “Joey” as an alias.
Sanders is believed to be dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 452-6666 or the CrimeStoppers line at 1-877-92-CRIME (877-922-7463).
