Beloved Husband, Father and Son

CLYDE — David Lee “Maybird” Hensley, age 46, went to his heavenly home to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Aug. 9, 2012.

A native of Bell County, Kentucky, he was the son of Mary Sue Hensley of Siler, Kentucky and the late Wayne Hensley.  He was also preceded in death by a grandmother-in-law, Mae Ferguson.  He was a former employee of Southern Concrete and a self-employed truck driver.  David was kind-hearted and loved spending time with his family.  He also loved listening to God’s word and riding his Harley.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Teresa Ferguson Hensley; four daughters, Rachelle Ferguson, Katie Ferguson, Michaela “Worm” Hensley and Haley “Lee Lee” Hensley, all of Clyde; two sisters, Jackie “Sis” Lefevers and ...
