WAYNESVILLE — William David Sheehan,  66, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at The Homestead.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late William Tyler and Annie Robena Williams Sheehan.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Sheehan, who passed away in 2011; one sister, Betty S. Gaddis; and one brother, Marvin Bruce Sheehan Sr.  David was an independent truck driver.  He loved being with his family and friends and enjoyed woodworking.
