Daydreamz seeks artists, writers’ submissions
The Daydreamz Project, a nonprofit organization that promotes healing of domestic violence, sexual assault and dating abuse through the arts, is requesting that survivors and their family and friends participate in the “Ripples of Hope” campaign by expressing their feelings about domestic violence, sexual assault or dating abuse on a blank teardrop cutout.
The artistic expressions, whether poetry, prose, drawings, paintings or decorations of any type, which can be anonymous, will then be placed on posters and the posters displayed at various galleries and venues throughout Haywood County during the month of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
