WAYNESVILLE — Deborah “Debbie” Jan Davis, 62, of Waynesville passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at MedWest- Haywood.

A native of Colt's Neck, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Jean Riker Seck, of Waynesville, and the late Robert Seck, who himself was a native of Newark, New Jersey, and was the owner of Sterling Design Company. Deborah graduated from Wall High School in New Jersey, in 1968. She studied music at Peabody, Maryland, received a BA in 1972 from Shenandoah College in Virginia, where she majored in piano and minored in voice.  When Debbie moved to Clyde, she taught piano. She owned and operated her own business, Quality Transcription.  She was an exceptionally loving, sweet, and caring daughter and will be forever missed.
