“Destroying Desi Benefit WOD” for Casey Kruk
CANTON — The call has been made to the PisgahNation to help one of their own and they are responding in full force.
Pisgah head varsity basketball coach Casey Kruk has been diagnosed with a very aggressive tumor called Desmoid.
The Pisgah High School Booster Club and CrossFit Haywood are sponsoring two fundraisers, with all proceeds to go to Coach Kruk to help in his fight against this aggressive tumor, on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The first fundraiser begins at 9 a.m. at the PHS track with the "Workout of the Day" and concludes with a Bar-b-que lunch from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. in the school's cafeteria.
The donation to Coach Kruk to participate in the Crossfit Haywood sponsored "Workout of the Day" is $20 and the Booster Club's lunch is $5 a person, which will have door prizes, raffles and a silent auction.
