Devil's Night on the South Slope

The breweries of Asheville’s South Slope are joining together for a Devil's Night release of fun and mystery from 3 p.m. until closing on Halloween Eve, Sunday, Oct. 30. Inspired by the time of year, this will be a celebration of the individual creativity of each of the South Slope breweries, collaborating for a night of fun.
All nine Asheville South Slope Breweries will brew a Devil’s Night Beer — Asheville Brewing, Bhramari Brewing, Burial Brewing, Catawba Brewing, Green Man Brewing, Hi-Wire Brewing, Twin Leaf Brewing, Wicked Weed and Wicked Weed Funkatorium.
Each brewery’s mystery beer will be released simultaneously at 3 p.m. at each brewery. There will be other surprises and events, but each brewery decides how they are going to celebrate the night.
Rules of Devil’s Night:
1. Breweries shall not talk to other breweries about their Devil’s Night brews and creative plans for the night. The brewers are just as excited as the beer lovers to check out friends’ and neighbors’ brews.
2. Be creative about whatever you want to be creative about — the beer, the party, costumes and games. Each brewery gets to choose its individual approach.
3. Support each other— no bad attitudes. It’s election season — but party-goers are encouraged to talk about beer instead — for one night.
4. Bring your fun game.
Party-goers can visit one or two breweries — or all nine.
