Leaving Van Gogh: A Novel by Carol Wallace
Narrated by the doctor who cared for him in the Summer of 1890, Leaving Van Gogh is a fictionalized portrait of the last months of Vincent Van Gogh's life. During that time Van Gogh was still largely unknown, despite creating art that would become some of the most famous in the world. The story revolves around his relationship with his doctor, Dr.Gachet, that may or may not have destroyed him.
