Whether a puppy needs a little pampering or a place to stay for a weekend, there's one place in Waynesville where dogs big and small are always welcome.

Seth and Patty Bach opened up Animal Magnetism Pet Services in the Hazelwood area of Waynesville in January 2012 and have built a large client base since then.

The Bachs have a true passion for dogs — they even have two of their own, Stormy and Sport. They pay close attention to the specific needs of each dog when they are in their care

Seth Bach said he pairs dogs that get along and takes them out to walk and play in the large backyard every 30 minutes. And when dogs stay for overnight or weekend boarding, either Seth or Patty spend the night in the apartment attached to the building.

In addition to overnight boarding, the Bachs also offer half and full-day doggie daycare, grooming and bathing.

The couple hosts special events monthly so their clients can come and enjoy the company of other pet owners, listen to speakers and play games. They recently held a Halloween event, parading dogs through downtown Hazelwood in costumes. Dogs were even treated to oil massages from Jeanene Fisher, a consultant with doTERRA essential oils.

The Bachs regularly bring in special guests and hold events to help pet owners learn more about advances in pet care.

Animal Magnetism Services is located at 95 Elysinia Ave, Waynesville. Winter hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They can be reached at 828-550-6651 or
