NEWPORT, TENNESSEE — Doyle Trantham, 71, of Newport, Tennessee, formerly of Haywood County, passed away on Oct. 5, 2012, at Maggie Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.

A private burial was held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
