Earley, McKinnon exchange vows
Dr. Rachelle Leigh Earley and Frederic William McKinnon IV were united in marriage Saturday, May 4, 2013, in front of a rock fireplace lit by candles at The Farm—A Gathering Place in Candler.
The bride is the daughter of Vivian Caldwell James and the late Jonathan James of Waynesville. Her grandparents are the late Arvil and Iola Caldwell and the late Glen and Alma James of Waynesville.
The groom is the son of Fred and Betsy McKinnon of Greensboro. His grandparents are Mary McElroy and the late Thomas McElroy of South Dennis, Massachusetts, the late Frederic McKinnon of Cherryfield, Maine and the late Frank and Jean Gross of Cherryfield, Maine.
The bride wore an off-white strapless lace and tulle A-line gown with a scalloped neckline and hem designed by Pronovias. The gown featured a beautiful, romantic lace pattern throughout the bodice and skirt.
Ronda James Ross of Waynesville served as the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miranda Ross, Laura Garland, Chelsea Wade and Ali Pancoast. They wore long chiffon one shoulder dresses by designer Bill Levkoff in color capri. The dresses have a ruched criss-cross bodice and a softly gathered skirt. The flower girl was Eden Angel.
Steve Blubaugh served as the best man. Groomsmen included Caden Earley, Travis Jurek, Kurt Glover and Aaron Chapman. Maceon Jowers was ring bearer.
Soloist performers included Chelsea Wade and Jeremy Best. The reader was Amanda Jowers. Ushers included John Ross and Bryce Hodges.
The bride's dog, Phoebe, was also a part of the ceremony and was escorted down the aisle by Miranda Ross.
Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned aboard Royal Carribean's Allure of the Seas, visiting Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel. The couple will reside in Fletcher.
