MIDDLESBORO, KENTUCKY — The Rev. Edward Ray Rickman, 82, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born March 16, 1930, in Waynesville, the son of the late Manley M. and Rhoda Arrington Rickman. He was a member of the Rose Hill Church of God where he was very active in the outreach ministry. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Harold and Frank Rickman.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Beth” Rickman; two stepsons, the Rev. Dennis Queen and Jerry Queen; brother, Joseph Rickman; sister, Edna Lance; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Bethel Cemetery in Canton, with the Rev. Dennis Queen presiding.
There will be no visitation.
