CLYDE — Ellen Irene Hodge, 75, of Clyde passed away peacefully, June 11, 2013 at the Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on March 27, 1938 to the late Charlie Boone and Minnie Viola Bullock Robbins. She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved her flowers, fishing and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, James, Kenneth, Jack, and Paul Robbins, and a sister, Josephine Oaks.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dallas Ray Hodge of Clyde; brothers, Billy Robbins of Indiana, Jesse Robbins and his wife Brenda of Ohio; sisters, Minnie Mae Petrey of Kentucky, Frances Petrey and her husband Bobby of Kentucky, Roberta Brown and her husband Harold of Kentucky, Helen Chesser and her husband Steve of Ohio and Virginia Lail of Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Revs. Larry Coates and Robert Stiles officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
Entombment will be held at the Garden Mausoleum of Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park.
