WAYNESVILLE — Mr. Elmer “Bud” Clontz, 77, of Waynesville, passed away April 9, 2014, at Harris Regional Hospital.
Mr. Clontz was born in Haywood County to the late Haskew and Ada Mae Fish Clontz. He worked at Bethel Elementary School for 22 years. Mr. Clontz was a very spiritual person and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Clontz; stepson, James Queen; stepdaughters, Cynthia Buff and Nola Isobe; brothers, Roy “Tooter,” and his wife, Belinda, Ellis “Ricy,” Russell and Albert and his wife, Joan; sisters, Agnes Henson, Dorothy Worley, Evelyn Underwood; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home and burial will follow at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
