This weekend Michael Pilgrim (mandolin) will perform Gypsy jazz from 7-10pm on Friday, May 31st. Of all the forms of jazz to emerge in the twentieth century, Gypsy jazz is the style most often defined as passionate, exhilaratingly up-tempo, and steeped in an outsider tradition. Join us Friday for a taste of "hot jazz" made famous by Django Reinhardt in the early 20th century.
Singer-songwriter, Joe Cruz (piano, vocals) will kick-off Saturday, June 1st with a musical tribute to the Beatles and Sir Elton John. Cruz is a highly versatile performer who moves easily from one musical genre to another. He has opened for Chicago, Santana, Bonnie Raitt, and Average White Band.
