Enraged driver stabs man

A Canton man displayed extreme road rage over the weekend when he attacked another man for cutting his wife off while driving, according to police reports.

Dennis Dewayne Gragg, 29, stabbed 34-year-old Scott Holder multiple times on the evening of April 25, in the McDonald's parking lot.

Gragg told police he was driving his truck on Champion Drive behind his wife when another truck passed him and his wife, "then cutting his wife off, nearly hitting her," according to police reports.

When Gragg saw Holder, the driver of the truck, pull into Tiger Mart/McDonald's parking lot, he followed and yelled at him. When Holder approached Gragg's vehicle window, Gragg stabbed him multiple times with a box cutter.

Holder underwent surgery for his injuries at Mission Hospital.

Gragg was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury, which is a felony. He was jailed under $45,000 secured bond and is due in court May 1.
