Donna Gail Evans, born and raised in Haywood County, was selected as the director of the Wellness Center with White Oak Estates, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Evans is a graduate of Tuscola High School, and of Western Carolina University, with a master’s degree in physical therapy,

Since graduation from WCU, Evans has been employed for the last five years with Givens Estates in Asheville in its wellness Center as a wellness coordinator. White Oak Estates, a community similar to Givens Estates, was interested in selecting a person who would be capable of establishing and organizing a wellness center from the ground up, at the facility.
