Loving Mother and Grandmother

MAGGIE VALLEY — Evelyn Gentry Lowe, 89, of Maggie Valley, passed away at Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Dolph and Annie Ray Gentry on May 20, 1923. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She truly enjoyed being at home.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her eldest son, Tommy Sutton; three brothers and three sisters.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Ed Sutton of Bryson City; three granddaughters, Cindy Duncan, Cammy Schreiber, and Tracy Ainsworth; one grandson, Jeff Sutton; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Sutton; one brother, Sam Gentry; and several nieces and nephews.
