Children, teens and adults are invited to drop by Blue Ridge Books on Saturday, May 12between 11:30 and 1:30 for an Author Fair co-sponsored by Early Light Books (http://www.earlylightbooks.com/)  and Grateful Steps. (http://www.gratefulsteps.com/)  This event will give readers an opportunity to meet authors of children’s and young adult books and to purchase signed copies.  The author fair is also an excellent time to choose gifts for grandchildren.

Brown is Haywood County’s celebrity science fiction expert and author.  He is perhaps best known for War of the Worlds and Blood, Guts and Zombies published by Simon and Schuster, as well as his Big Foot Wars series.  His fan base includes both teens and adults.

 Michael Beadle, poet and performer, author of KaBoom

Beadle teaches, writes and performs poetry.  KaBoom is a recording of Beadles’s performance of some of his originally poetry including “Bubbasaurus.”
