Everett W. Brown

CANTON —  Everett Wexler Brown, 78, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at MedWest-Haywood.

A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late James Horace and Lula Magnolia Moore Brown.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Leatherwood Brown, who died in 1990; a daughter, Brenda Kaye Brown Messer, who died in 2002; five sisters and two brothers. Everett worked as a project manager, building roads for more than 40 years.  He enjoyed horses and was a member of East Fork Baptist Church.

He is survived by his second wife of 14 years, Edith Oliver Brown; four sons, Charles Everett Brown, and his wife, Libby, of Lighthouse Point, Florida; Doyle Edward Brown, of Canton; Fred Lee Brown, and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, ...
