CANDLER — Grover Everette Clark, 70, of Candler, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, after a period of declining health.
Mr. Clark was born at home Oct. 10, 1942, in the Sandy Mush community of Leicester and had resided most of his adult life in Candler. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in Vietnam, and had been awarded several medals for his distinguished service. Everette’s favorite pastime was socializing and gun trading with his friends at the Candler Flea Market. He was a loving “Papaw” to his grandchildren and will be missed deeply by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Clark and Frances Clark Cole.
He is survived by his sons, Grover Everette Clark II (Tena) and Robert Eugene Clark, all of Candler; grandchildren, Kyle Clark, ...
