Sep 19, 2012

The United Methodist Women of Clyde Central United Methodist Church, 410 Charles St., in Clyde, will sponsor a day filled with breakfast, a craft bazaar, a bake sale, country store, “futures” market, silent auction and lunch starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.

From 4 to 8 p.m., the United Methodist Men will host a spaghetti dinner at $7 for adults and $4 for children.

The craft bazaar will feature handmade seasonal crafts, home decor, needlework and more.  A bake sale will have cakes, pies, fudge, do-it-yourself mixes and cookies.

Silent auction items are new and gently used items to the highest bidder.  Attendees do not have to be present to win.

The “futures” market features handyman services, dinners for four, babysitting, computer work, and many other services to be purchased at the festival and collected when needed.

The fall festival is the biggest fund-raiser of the year for the United Methodist Men and Women for missions.

The church is at 410 Charles St., off Highway 19/23m behind the fire station.  For information, call the church at 627-2287.
