Farmers market holds indoor market starting Nov. 3
Haywood’ Historic Farmers Market will hold an indoor winter market from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3 to Dec. 8, at the Shelton House Barn, U.S. 276 S, two blocks from Main Street, in Waynesville.
Vendors will have fall greens and root vegetables needed to make hearty soups and meat vendors are stocked up, too. Now is the time to pre-order Thanksgiving turkey or other meats.
Customers may also special order pies, breads, and cakes for the holidays and hostess gift-giving.
Featured are Copper Pot and Wooden Spoon — jams jellies, pickles and scone and cracker mixes; Fines Creek Fine Foods —pepper mustards and fruit syrups; 27 Willow — jams and jellies; Carolina Wild Seafood; and crafts people who have one-of-a-kind items for gift-giving. Call 456-1793.
