Field photography offered May 21 to June 18

An upcoming photo program, to be held May 21 to June 18, will include field shoots and Tuesday evening group discussions. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesdays at the Waynesville Old Armory Recreation Center, 44 Boundary St., Waynesville, to car pool to field locations, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, area waterfalls, Cataloochee Valley and the Smoky Mountains National Park. Field shoots will be devoted to hands-on work in a natural setting. SLR, point and shoot, or digital camera will be required, as well as a tripod.
Participants will meet every from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Tuesdayat the Armory to cover composition, equipment and using the computer as well as project images for group discussion.
Field shoots are $45 each and Tuesday evening meetings are $15 each. A  20 percent discount is offered for those planning to do all the sessions.

Graduates of the program  become part of the Lens Lugger Group and will receive on-going education and tips, have access to blog and the Website and well as receive a 30 percent discount on future programs.
