The 15th Annual Fines Creek Bluegrass Jam is Friday, Aug. 24 and Saturday, Aug. 25. This is an outdoor music event in the cool mountains of Fines Creek, 190 Fines Creek Road, in Clyde). Tents on the lawn provide shelter.  Bring your own chair or blanket.   Food is available.  This is a family friendly event.  Proceeds go to the Fines Creek Seniors Scholarship Fund.  To date, 42 scholarships have been awarded to students continuing their education.

This year’s line-up is:
• 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24  — Steve Brown & Hurricane Ridge (serving as master of ceremonies), High Windy, The Ross Brothers, and Monroeville.

• 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 25 — Steve Brown & Hurricane Ridge, The Ross Brothers, Leroy Troy, Eddie Rose and Highway 40, and Buncombe Turnpike
