Around mid-July, they begin arriving. Nearly 300 people from nine countries will appear in Waynesville, to begin their Folkmoot experience. New Zealand, Indonesia, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Belgium, France, Serbia and Hawaii, USA, will be the diverse cultures represented at this year’s Folkmoot Festival, held July 18 to 29.
All-group performances (all nine groups at the same performance venue) have expanded considerably. This July Folkmoot will feature eight all-group performances. There are also two all-group matinee performances.
