Forest service planning meetings set
ASHEVILLE, N.C., March 26, 2014 -- The U.S. Forest Service has announced the times for the April 17 public session to be held as part of the Nantahala and Pisgah National Forests management plan revision.
A discussion on wilderness and special designated areas will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a drop-in session on the Scenery Management System following. If you are interested in participating in the wilderness and/or designated areas discussion, RSVP to NCPlanRevision@fs.fed.us by April 10.
The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Resort, 1 Resort Drive, Asheville, NC 28806.
