The word perfect can now be tagged to Waynesville Middle School wrestler Garrett Fox.
From the preseason through the Blue Ridge Conference Tournament at North Henderson High School, Fox went undefeated on the mat. The talented Mountaineer finished up his perfect season by winning the 134-pound championship at the BRC Tournament last week.
“Our wrestlers have taken it to the limit this season with persistence and hard work,” said Waynesville Middle Head Coach Jackie Roten.
Waynesville Middle also picked up another gold medal win Deshawn Cullins won the 108-pound BRC Tournament championship.
