Free Computer Classes at the Library
|May 01, 2013|
Haywood County Public Library continues to offer free one-on-one computer lessons at the main branch in Waynesville and at the Canton branch. Lessons are open to everyone, from beginners to more advanced computer users. The lessons are taught by an experienced computer instructor, and cover how to create an e-mail or Facebook account, apply for a job online, create an Excel spreadsheet, or whatever computer-related subject the student would like to learn. One-hour lesson slots are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. at the main library in Waynesville and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the Canton branch. Interested library patrons may sign up for a lesson at the circulation desk or by calling the Waynesville library at 452-5169 or the Canton library at 648-2924.
