Free one-on-one computer lessons are now being offered at both the Canton and Waynesville public libraries. Open to everyone, from beginners to more advanced computer users, the lessons are taught by an experienced computer instructor. Lessons cover how to create an e-mail or Facebook account, apply for a job online, create an Excel spreadsheet, or whatever computer-related subject the student would like to learn. Lesson slots are on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Waynesville library from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Canton library. Interested library patrons may sign up for a lesson at either library's circulation desk or by calling the Canton library (648-2924) or the Waynesville library (452-5169).
