Once again, for the fourth year, the Smoky Mountain Knitting Guild is offering  FREE Learn-To-Knit classes for children.  Students will be taught the basics:  cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches.  .  The Kids’ Knit class will begin on Thursday, October 4, from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. and will  run for seven weeks.  All class sessions will be held in the Waynesville Library board room and are FREE.  Pre-registration is required.  All materials and equipment will be supplied.  If you or someone you know would like to join either class, please contact Mary Finn at 828-246-4651 or e-mail marycfinn@email.com.
